Andy is a medical device executive with over 15 years experience. Prior to the spin-out from Blackrock Microsystems, Andy was the CEO of Blackrock Microsystems and he successfully commercialized research products in the neurophysiology sector increasing revenue from $700k to +$10 million in less than four years. Prior to Blackrock, Andy was responsible for sales and operations for the US Surgical Division of Haemonetics Corporation. Andy has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (with a focus in Bioengineering) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In his spare time, he enjoys competitive sports, good local food and exploring the outdoors with his wife and two children.
Tom is Director of Clinical Sales at Blackrock NeuroMed and leads the sales and technical support teams to insure the highest level of support for our customers. He is an experienced sales professional with 25+ years of experience including management positions at University of Kentucky Medical Center Pulmonary Sleep Disorder Center, Pulmonary Function Laboratory and Research Laboratory, VA – Sleep Disorders Center and Clinical Neurophysiology, Natus Medical Inc./Bio-logic Systems , and Cardinal Health/Viasys HealthCare NeuroCare Group.
Shanna has focused her medical device career on new product development and commercialization to bring value to the market. At Blackrock NeuroMed, Shanna manages the company’s marketing strategy. Before joining NeuroMed, she held product management positions at small and large organizations launching key vascular access products and innovative spine/orthopedic implants. Prior to earning an MBA degree at the University of Utah and transitioning to medical devices, she held positions in spa management, customer service, biology and toxicology research labs. Shanna also holds BS and MS degrees in Zoology from UW- Madison. In her free time, she is found climbing steep cliffs in the Utah canyons.
